As a kid, one of my favorite pass times was to build things out of Legos. Sometimes I'd be an architect building castles and mansions and other times I'd be an aircraft mechanic building helicopters and airplanes. But, like most childhood fascinations, I soon lost interest in my Legos. Those little blocks that brought so much joy to my young life have since taken up permanent residence in my parents' dusty attic...out of site and out of mind! Kind of sad isn't it?
Well, fret no more for the plight of the neglected Lego! FuirtFly from the Instructables site has come up with a great use for all those old Legos you have laying around. He created a nifty dock for his iPhone 3G out of Legos, and posted step by step instructions for everyone to enjoy. Now, even FruitFly admits that his iPhone Lego dock is "very simple." But like most good hackers, modders and builders he has created his Lego dock in the hopes that it would "inspire others and see what better and more effective ideas they might come up with." Thank you FruitFly that's very "open-source" of you! :)

That is so awesome!
It is pretty cool, isn't it! If anyone has created one of their own, I'd be glad to feature it...just email a picture to: thedailyhack@gmail.com.
